There is no greater need of the modern church as a return to the power of the preached word. Salvation is the central purpose of the church. The blood of Jesus Christ saving us from (damnation) being lost, saving ourselves from this untoward generation and saving the lost from the condemnation for the world. “…it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” (I Corinthians 1:21b). We must preach. “… how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:14).
One of my beliefs of establishing people and building a church on the Rock of Jesus Christ is teaching. I teach expositionally through the book of the Bible. I have heard it said, “Expositional teaching exposes God’s truth and when we don’t teach expositions of the scriptures we only have imposition left.” So, we can either expose God’s truth or impose our opinions on the text. There is no greater study than the study of Jesus Christ as our High Priest. Come join us for a “tour de-force” of the Scriptures.
